LUMI

Privacy Policy

Effective July 29, 2026

Lumi is a personal assistant for planning a day. This policy explains what information Lumi uses, why it is used, and the controls available to you.

Information processed on your device

With your permission, Lumi can read selected Calendar events, Reminders tasks, approximate weather location, and speech-recognition results. Conversations, preferences, memories, cached briefs, and profile settings are stored locally unless a feature needs the Lumi service to answer your request.

Information sent to the Lumi service

To generate an AI response or Daily Brief, Lumi may send the current message or final speech transcript, locale, date, time zone, a minimized Calendar or task summary, relevant preferences or confirmed memories, and optional weather context. Lumi is designed not to send raw audio, unrelated photos, your full Calendar database, attendees, contact details, event notes, or precise coordinates by default.

Calendar and task actions

Calendar and Reminders access is controlled by iOS permissions. If automation is enabled, a complete and high-confidence request to create a new item may be added automatically and remains editable. Ambiguous requests and requests to update or delete existing items require review or clarification. You can revoke system permissions at any time in iOS Settings.

Accounts and service providers

You may use Lumi anonymously or link Apple or Google for account continuity. Authentication is provided by Supabase. AI requests are processed by the configured AI provider. Weather information may be provided by Apple Weather. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

Retention and deletion

Delete Conversation History removes local conversations, drafts, and pending messages. Delete Local Data removes local preferences, memories, profile data, conversations, and caches, but does not delete Calendar events or Reminders and does not revoke iOS permissions. A linked account can be deleted from Settings โ†’ Account; server account data is then deleted and the app returns to anonymous use.
